Debra Weed Hahn

Debra Weed Hahn is originally from Henderson, Nevada. She earned a Music Dance Theater degree from Brigham Young University and was a member of The BYU Young Ambassadors. During her time in Utah, she performed in many shows with the Hale Centre Theatres. Her favorite roles include Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun, Cinderella in Into the Woods, Polly Baker in Crazy for You, Lucie Manette in A Tale of Two Cities and Janet VanDeGraff in The Drowsy Chaperone. Debra was also a featured soloist with Zion’s Youth Symphony and Chorus in Las Vegas in 2012 and 2013.

Debra's love of musical theater took her to New York City where she met her husband, Brendan. After four wonderful years in Manhattan, Debra moved back to Utah with her jersey boy and started a family. Her two little girls, Evelyn (3) and Clara (11 months), keep her busy and entertained. When not changing diapers and playing dolls, Debra can be found teaching voice lessons from her home and teaching tap dance at Lifehouse Academy.

A highlight in Debra’s career was the opportunity to play Mary Magdalene in Savior of the World at the SLC Conference Center in 2017. That powerful experience magnified her desire to share goodness and truth through music and word. Her other true passions in life are gummy candies, cheesy TV shows, and hip hop workout classes.
